So Google Local - now Google Maps - has been freaking out the Italians with its freaky Street View camera car, but still hasn't got around to doing London. Frankly I'm a little dissed by this, and you should be too.
On the backhand it's another chance to practice that quiet British
superiority, in that even Google's street-knitting algorithms aren't
yet up to the Escherine medieval topologies of eg, Holborn Viaduct.
Instead, they're offering us artsy tie-in photos of areas kind of
around the area we're searching in. Nice gesture, but, frankly Google,
shit is cut. What are you all doing during that one day a week you get for side projects? Exploring Liberty City instead, I reckon.
