meeting of the minds. well, a mind.

Moving quickly to get someone to show him how, exactly, one mayors, I am delighted to hear that BoJo is meeting today with Michael Bloomberg, the bombastic and slightly fatuous but rather effective (and nicely-coiffed) chief of New York. Quite socially liberal for a fellow who is not ashamed to call himself a Republican, the parallels are striking: Bloomberg is (like Boris) quite well-heeled and has in the past allegedly not hesitated to be a bit sexy in the workplace. Scintillating chat will no doubt ensue, at least from one side.
