Following on from Fay Weldon's magnificent Bulgari product placement novel, what looks to be another spectacular sell-out. We're looking forward to hearty belly laughs from this exquisite little volume, so much.
It's not published until May 16, but John Crace sets a blistering pace in today's Guardian with 'smug twat'. Going by Adrian Gill's back catalogue, that ought to make it onto the cover of the paperback. Crace also wonders, reasonably enough, 'who will buy it?', and with it cruising at a smooth #348 on Amazon two weeks pre-publication, that's not a rhetorical question, that's a plea for answers. Who are you people? Please, speak up. You will not be punished.
