bojo_the_clown.jpgNever known for resting on his laurels while at work, it seems that London's new great leader has decided that overseeing the undertakings of a city that has a population larger than about half the world's nations is not really something that is going to keep him sufficiently occupied.

Drunk_Muppet[1].jpgWonderful news! The homekey of the Bojo Symphony has been set. He's led off with a good old-fashioned banning, plus a nice expensive poster campaign, paid for by us, to tell us what we can't do any more: namely, get lashed on the tube. That's probably what Jean Charles de Menezes was doing all along.

No time! Acronyze!

bojo_the_clown.jpgWhen I was living in New York, I tried unsuccessfully to finagle 'FiDi', denoting the Financial District, into common parlance. Likewise 'eVil', and then its obvious counterpart 'WeVil'. They just didn't go for that shit, any more than my new neighbours are into NoHi or HoPa. I think SheBu might have legs, though.

But in the last few days there's been a rehash of enthusiasm for 'BoJo', moniker of our striking new mayor. The Sun, Tory holyman Kwasi Kwarteng, even the New Statesman are at it. It never really stuck before, if only because he didn't either. Looks like that'll change on both counts, so embrace it, party people. The headlines will be much more fun when his hooker scandal breaks.[image from qbn.com]
